Indeed, not everyone "run" on the food when having STRESS. There are also their appetite actually lost in a state of stressed emotional. However, most people get a sense of comfort with eating foods.
There are many ways to deal with negative emotions are felt, one of which is caused by eating a better feeling.
When we grew up in environments that use food for emotional appeal, then we will also have a habit of eating when stressed. But if we already know that a healthy stress management techniques, we can choose another way.
Eating when stressed can also occur due to be triggered by stress hormones that cause hunger. There are studies showing the existence of a complex system of hormones on hunger and satiety, which is also affected by stress and sleep.
The combination of biological mechanisms that cause why would someone choose foods to reduce stress and others are looking for another solution.
Eat when stress is an emotional response which gradually becomes automatic. If every incident we respond in this way, after a long time it became a habit. To change it we must learn new habits.
Therefore, it is recommended that every time you feel stress cause you to find your favorite food, fight that feeling. First, feel the sensation of stress. Sit quietly and breathe. Feel and see what happens.
We must realize this if we feel hungry or just the stress response. This way would usually perceived stress is reduced and we are not hungry anymore. Try and repeat this pattern until it be a new habit.
